1. The service
LexaFluent is operated by an individual developer. It offers vocabulary study tools, exercises, and information about words and word families. You can contact us at admin@lexafluent.com.
2. Your account
You need an account to save learner progress. Keep your sign-in details secure and do not use someone else's account without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.
You can close your account in Settings while signed in. See the Privacy Policy for how learner data is stored, exported, and deleted.
3. Learning content
LexaFluent is a study aid, not an accredited course or a proficiency certification. Your results depend on many factors, so we cannot promise a particular learning outcome. We may correct mistakes and update exercises or language content as we improve the service.
4. Fair use
You may use LexaFluent and its learning materials for your personal study. Please do not interfere with the service, try to access another person's account, or copy and redistribute substantial parts of the materials or software without permission. Rights in third-party material remain with their owners.
5. Content ownership and your licence
The learning content in LexaFluent, including word entries, senses, example sentences, translations, audio, exercise material, and the way they are selected and organised, belongs to LexaFluent or its licensors and is protected by copyright and database rights. It remains ours when the app stores a copy on your device so that Study can work offline.
While you use the service you have a personal, non-transferable licence to use that content for your own study. You may not copy it in bulk, scrape or export it, use it to train a product or model, or reuse the content, audio, or exercise data in another service, dictionary, or app. Normal personal use, such as noting down a word you learned, is fine.
If you believe content on LexaFluent infringes your rights, contact us and we will look into it.
6. Plans and payments
Some features may require a paid plan. The current price, billing period, and any taxes or trial offer are shown before you confirm a purchase. Payments are handled through a third-party checkout. A recurring plan renews on the terms shown at checkout unless it is cancelled.
For cancellation or billing help, email admin@lexafluent.com. Cancelling a plan does not delete your account or learner progress. Any refund or withdrawal rights you have under applicable law remain in force.
7. Privacy and learner data
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle account data, learner progress, browser storage, and optional analytics. It also explains how to export your learner data and close your account.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep LexaFluent available, but maintenance, errors, or events outside our control may interrupt access. We may change features and learning content as the service develops. If a change materially affects paid access, contact us so we can address it under the terms of your purchase and applicable law.
We may restrict an account that is used to harm the service or other users. We will explain a material restriction when it is reasonable and lawful to do so.
9. Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you think the service or a purchase is not as described, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms, a purchase, or your account can be sent to admin@lexafluent.com. We may update these terms and will post the revised text with a new effective date. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account or plan.
